Ivo, I was just thinking that the "who created the creator" problem fits well in your expanding simulation idea. When ever we consider the creator we realize there must have been a lower level creator and a lower level creator and so on.
Also, would you consider paradox as a detectable boundry? It would seem to be at least a detectable logic boundry...
