My name is Ivo Jansch. I started this site because I was inspired by films such as The Matrix, and articles such as The Simulation Argument, which got me thinking about what it would mean if we would live in a Simulation. There are so many implications and philosophical things to ponder, that I needed a medium to write down my ideas. A wiki seemed to be the best fit.

I was born in 1976 in The Netherlands, where I still live. I'm not married but have a wonderful girlfriend, Leoni. In my day job I'm CTO at Ibuildings.

I'm involved in several open source projects, most notably the ATK Framework (lead developer) and Achievo, the project management application (part of the core development team).

One of my hobbies is , and I collect penguins. (Have penguins lying around? Donate them ;-))

I recently wrote a book on 'Enterprise PHP Development'. See Amazon entry on the right.
